What Customers Say
Real Google reviews from customers of our Bellevue office.
“So very helpful and fast. I loved how gently the handled my belongs. Have some beloved antiques and they came thru great!”
“They show up on time or early, they’re fast and friendly, and super careful with your stuff. We have used PS Moving twice and both times not a single thing was broken when we unpacked.”
“Best movers I’ve ever used. They were especially careful not to damage the walls in narrow hallways and stairways. They covered the main walkways… and left my home clean.”
Antique Moving in Bellevue, One Piece at a Time
A family armoire, a china cabinet with its original glass, a farm table that’s been through three generations: these can’t be replaced, and they don’t move like flat-pack furniture. Our Bellevue antique movers plan each piece before it leaves the room, with extra padding, custom wrapping, and careful loading.
How We Protect Antiques and Heirlooms
- We look over each piece with you before moving it
- Extra blankets and padding on every surface
- Corners, legs, and carvings protected separately
- Loose glass and mirrors packed in their own cartons
- Pieces loaded upright and strapped, never stacked
- Reassembled and placed where you want them
Pieces That Need Extra Planning
Glass-front cabinets and hutches
Shelves and loose glass come out and travel separately, and doors are secured so they can’t swing open.
Marble and stone tops
Heavy tops are removed and moved on edge, never flat, which is how most marble cracks.
Large mirrors and framed art
Packed in mirror cartons or wrapped with corner protection and kept upright on the truck.
Pieces that may need a crate
Some fragile or especially valuable items need a custom crate. We’ll talk through any piece like that during your estimate.
Getting Your Antiques Ready
-
Photograph each piece
Take clear photos of every antique from a few angles so you have a record of its condition before the move.
-
Tell us about repairs and weak spots
Loose joints, old repairs, and fragile veneer all change how a piece should be handled. Point them out during the estimate.
-
Empty drawers of heavy items
Heavy contents stress old joinery. Lighter linens can often stay, and we’ll let you know which pieces should be emptied.
-
Ask about valuation coverage
Basic coverage on any move is limited, so ask us about your valuation options before moving day if you have high-value pieces.
Antique Moving Questions
Do you crate antiques?
Most antiques travel safely with padding and custom wrapping. If a piece needs a crate, we’ll talk through it at the estimate.
Can you move a single antique piece?
Often, yes. Call and tell us what the piece is and where it’s going, and we’ll let you know how we’d handle it.
Are my antiques covered if something happens?
Every move comes with basic coverage, but it’s limited. Ask us about valuation options for high-value pieces before your move.
Can antiques be part of a regular household move?
Yes. Most of the antiques we move are part of a full household move. Just point them out during your estimate so we plan for them.
